Wednesday Pop 19

Recently I started to watch The Wire. No, I hadn't watched it before. Yes, I had heard about it. No bad word from anyone. Toni has obviously been amongst those to give praise. So far I've seen the first season and a couple of episodes from the second. It's been pretty damn awesome. So good it's hard not to watch an episode after another, all night long.

The theme song of the show is the same every season, only the performer changes. This one is from the second season.

The Wire is awesome! Just finished the fifth season a few weeks ago and haven't recovered from the fact that there are no more seasons left :(

I believe that the theme song is Tom Waits' original.

Jussi: I think that's the original too. At least the song is originally by Tom Waits. Wasn't sure, though, so left the year out, just in case. Toni is rewatching The Wire as I watch it too, and he seems very happy about doing so. So, just watch it again. Hehe. :D

Mape: I'll wait and see (and hear). ;)
