Wednesday Pop 20

My sisters had a bad taste of men when they were teens. That's all I can say. Maybe they were just teens of 80's. I remember how the Swedish entry for Eurovision Song Contest kept playing in our home over and over again for a little while when I was three or four. It was a cute tune sung by three blonde, very Swedish looking guys. Yep, my sisters had a crush on them.

The kitchy annual event is here again. This year broadcasted from Germany, the last year winner. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's the deal in short: Each year most European countries send a song (and an artist or a group) to compete on live television. The winner is determined by votes from each participating country. It's all very flashy and the music is... What it is. I say it's a political event, a cold war relic. Funny, though.
