Social media tip 5: Shorten it down

rest

If you write a long post on your blog the readers are likely to skim it through. Actually, if you write a short post they are still likely to skim.

In order to get your message out there, keep it short and use clear and simple language. The social media users don't have time in decrypting difficult words and hidden meanings.

Keeping things short is unfortunately difficult business: When you are being short you might easily end up just being blunt and even plain rude.

Find the balance between being nice and being short.
