Awed, confused, surprised.

Of February and the Weekly Wrapup

winter

Did you know helmikuu is Finnish and means February? And did you know why helmikuu.net is named after this month?

When Toni and I decided to get our own domain 10 years ago we scratched our heads to find out how to name it. We wanted to get something together, but we don't share a last name or something like that.

However we do share something. This month, that is. We have both born in February, only about a year apart. Therefore we decided to go with helmikuu.

Speaking of February: Did you get your calendar? It's pretty and comes with printable and desktop versions. Get it before March!

Suomeksi (In Finnish):

Tiesitkö mistä helmikuu.net on saanut nimensä? Meillä on kuitenkin jotain yhteistä. Tämä kuukausi, nimittäin. Olemme molemmat syntyneet helmikuussa, erona vain noin vuosi. Siksi päädyimme helmikuuhun. Helmikuusta puheen ollen: Joko sait kalenterisi? Se on nätti ja siitä on tarjolla printattava tai taustakuvaksi laitettava versio. Käy hakemassa ennen maaliskuuta! Yllä myös viime viikko the tasselflower blogissa.

Jep, niin yksinkertainen idea. Mutta juu, mielestäni myöskin kiva.

Kiitos, Taru!
