Etsy is finally testing instant delivery (or instant download if you may) for digital items. To be able to add digital items to Etsy, you as a shop owner must join Digital Items team.

After being approved to the team you will get Item type options to all of their Etsy items. The types are Physical item and Digital file.

Once the Digital file option is chosen, you can then upload up to 5 files, each of up to 20 MB of size (all together 100 MB). Hopefully the size or the item count will rise, since some digital paper packs etc. may be bigger than that.

For you as a buyer this means you will get your digital items instantly through Etsy and don't have to wait for the seller to send them to you via email. This discussion on Digital Items team shows how the buyer will experience the instant delivery.

The download page will show the items downloadable as soon as your payment has been confirmed. You will also receive an email when the items are available for you to download. The download page is also available through your Purchases page, the receipt of your order.

At the tasselflower crafts Etsy boutique all the Photoshop brushes, clipart, journaling cards and planners and to do lists plus most of the digital papers/patterns are now available as instant download.

This includes the new Star Doodle Photoshop and GIMP brushes. The brushes are high resolution and made for both commercial and personal use.

Nyt Etsy myyjät voivat lisätä digituotteita suoraan ladattavaksi Etsyyn. Saadakseen tämän toiminnon myyjän on liityttävä Digital Items tiimiin. Kun liittyminen on hyväksytty, jokaiseen tuotteeseen tulee mahdollisuus merkitä se fyysiseksi tuotteeksi tai digitaaliseksi tiedostoksi.
